submission guidelines

• all issue submissions should be sent to windupmicepress@gmail.com ​​

  • up to THREE pieces of poetry 

  • (let us know if a poem needs special formatting)

• subject line: Summer Poetry Wind-up Mice Submission

• please include a brief third-person bio

• all work must be previously unpublished, both in print and online 

• we do not tolerate any subject matters of blatant homophobia, misogyny, racism, or overt pornography 

• simultaneous submissions are encouraged. just let us know if your piece gets picked up elsewhere

• multiple submissions are not allowed. 

• we aim to respond within three weeks

• donate to our paypal @windupmicepress (all funds go towards print issues) for a 24-hour decision

  • send a screenshot or forward your donation along with your submission using the subject line: Expedited Submission

• contributors are unfortunately not paid at this time but will receive a print contributor copy
